What We Did

The Ten-19 service have supported several young people within the youth offending team. The have been consistently accessible, supported the young people to an outstanding level, they have gone above and beyond what other emotional services provide to help the needs of the young people.

The Ten-19 service provide emotional wellbeing to young people aged 10-19 working alongside the youth offending team, they offer several psychological approaches where the service is tailored to suit each individuals and families needs. The results of the young people they have supported have been really positive and made considerable differences to their lives.

This service enables the young people to access psychological support that is more accessible to young people that are hard to reach and often disengage from services. The appointments are at suitable times and locations for the young people and at the foundation is on developing a therapeutic relationship. As well they can work with the young people for the length of the young persons court order.

This service has successfully reduced offending within Staffordshire and supported the young people, parents and carers as well as supporting the youth offending staff through a consultation model.
